The "E-6 color reversal" is beautiful; the colors are rich and saturated. Both Kodak and Fujifilm produce stocks for the E-6 chemistry.   Kodak's product is the Ektrachrome 100D/5285 for 35mm and 7285 for 16mm.  With its EI of 100, Kodak promotes it as excellent for advertising, nature cinematography, documentaries and music videos. It is described as particularly appropriate for telecine transfers and television filming. For technical data on the 5285, click on the Kodak logo below.

You may think that Fujichrome is a still photographer's medium. Well,  Fujifilm Velvia is now distributed in 35mm motion picture format with Bell & Howell perforations and MR key codes in 400 and 1000 foot lengths. With an EI of 50, balanced for daylight, Fuji promotes it as ideal for commercials and music videos. Visit their website for more details.
